About Us

John & Laura McNeal have been buying and selling antiques, jewelry and coins for nearly 28 years now. John got an early start at age fifteen. He learned the trade from his parents who were collectors of both antiques and coins.

John & Laura, who were originally from Indiana, have lived in Florida for almost 25 years. During their first decade in Florida they were free-lance dealers in antiques, jewelry and coins. They experienced such success that they needed to find a brick and mortar outlet to display their goods. So, in 1993 they purchased the 4th St. Antique Mall in St Petersburg. Their mall was an outlet for many other free-lance antique, jewelry and coin dealers to display and sell their merchandise as well. In 2006 John & Laura decided to sell the mall, and go back to being free-lance dealers.

Recently John & Laura opened their new business called McNeal Antiques, Jewelry & Coins. It is a retail store where they buy and sell antiques, jewelry and coins. It is a family owned and operated business where John, Laura and their daughter Christy manage all the operations. McNeal Antiques, Jewelry & Coins is centrally located for easy access in the Greater Tampa Bay area at 6206 54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg.

Their new business venture has been a great success so far. And based on the fair-minded way they treat customers, and manage their business, it will remain that way into the future.
